Heavy Heart today

Hello and welcome back.

Wow. Where has our journey taken us? Improving our lives, getting more out of life, living life to the fullest, success, prosperity and the list goes on.

I do ask, though, where would we be without Mother Earth, our home for now? It's all good and grand to have and achieve those wants and desires. But at what cost? Do our wants and desires kill animals, destroy habitats, cause harm to others? This is what is on my mind today.

Life has its cycles, it ebbs and flows. This is a universal law, just for us we must give to receive. We must give back and preserve what we have taken. Meaning, what are you doing to protect the rain forest? By not supporting company's that strip the rain forest for their products. Are you not using pesticides and weed killers that harm plants, animals and insects? Do you know the monarch butterfly relies on the milk weed to survive? By killing milk weed we are killing the survival of the monarch. By killing the clover, weed and flower sources for the bees we are actually contributing to their demise. But did you also know if the bees die, we die?  If we destroy the rain forest and trees our planet, Mother Earth dies; we die. This is not my ranting and raving, it's fact.  I have long since stopped using pesticides and weed / vegetation killers. Also by our use we are poisoning our water. Another example: stop eating and using products with palm oil because they cut down the forests where these palms grow which is destroying the natural home and habitat for the orangutans.  So what about recycling? Do you recycle everything you can? I do. It's amazing how much less garbage you have when you recycle. We can have wonderful lives and still be responsible.

Dominion: there are scriptures in the Bible which talk about man having been given dominion  over the earth, plants and animals. So what does this mean? Well it doesn't mean we can do whatever we damn well please. It means we are responsible for taking care of this planet, the plants, animals -- all inhabitants. Are we? No! The human race breeds like rabbits, taking and taking but never giving back. We cut down rain forests a and other habitats to build homes, factories, cities etc...what once was farm land for growing food is now homes, stores, lands of of concrete. Instead of growing corn to feed the multitudes, it's now grown for ethanol gas. No wonder we have more hunger today than ever before.

Bear fruit and multiply doesn't mean go out there and have a lot of babies. It means to bear the fruit of knowledge, understanding, righteousness, goodness and love. God gave us this planet to live, move and have our being but in respect, reverence, light and love.  To live and experience life abundantly but with this comes great responsibility. We are spiritual beings here having an earthly experience. And as in the Bible; Isaiah 12 states " In joy you shall draw water from the wells of salvation. To draw on this we must go within, for the things of the Spirit of God, his presence, his love that never changes are from within. Enter the silence within for the waters of joy, peace, hope then life will flow from the invisible within to the visible without." So this takes us to what we've heard time and time again, "So within, so without".

We are beloved children of God. Every face is unique but we're of one heart, one spirit, one energy. Every face may be unique but we're of one heart, one spirit.  The heart of life connects us all and connects us to this home we call Earth. Yet it still goes back to loving yourself.  How can you love your family, love your friends or even love this earth if you don't even love yourself.  Love yourself enough to eat right, exercise, spend quality time within yourself.  Remember "So Within, So Without"

So wrapping up another journey into self.  Thank you for joining me once again. I do believe in you and I believe in your heart.

      Take care and God Bless

Being Present Connects & AWAKENS

Hello and welcome back.

How are you and how are progressing with your wonderful journey called 'your life'?   My hope in sharing this journey we have been taking together has been thought provoking, soul stirring, and most of all enjoyable.

Continuing along the same thoughts I left off with in my last post of being present -- being in the here and now puts you in a state of awareness, mindfulness and alines us with God (Universal Spirit, Source Energy, etc... whatever you choose to connect with. I love using God - that resonates with me). Aligning so we can converse with that higher power. Talking with God on a continuous basis to stay connected and a constant state of prayer. This too helps us stay present and in the moment. Then you do what the Bible states, "Ask and ye shall receive".  I believe this applies to everything. Ask God to go forth into your day, guiding you, paving the way so you can meet all challenges with grace, understanding, patience, tolerance, etc... Believe me, it works. I begin each and every day with yoga and warm up exercises then quiet time where I commune with God and my guides or guardian Angel. A time I take to be thankful for my blessed life, the wonderful people who have come and gone throughout my life. I also ask for guidance for what lies ahead. This helps me to be present, in the here and now.  Then as my day unfolds I meet each challenge with confidence that I'm divinely guided to make the right decisions for what is best for all.  For we will always have challenges. It is why we are here. It is through our challenges that help us grow. We get to know ourselves, our weaknesses, as well as our strengths. It is how we choose to move through and with these challenges that determines how well we complete them and move on.

I do believe this through my own personal challenges, how much I surrendered to God's guidance and applied it and believe this for you, as well.  I know that whatever challenges you're going through, you will come through stronger, some how changed by the experience and you'll come back into your joy once again.

It's so fascinating that here lately the books I'm reading and the other media I've been listening to or watching ("Joy Riding The Universe" by Sheradon Bryce; an audio book by Edwene Gaines; some lectures I've watched online) have really been focused on our communion with God, being present and our self love and their importance. You can't expect to receive love, respect, understanding etc... if you don't have those for yourself. As it's written in the Bible, "Love thy neighbor as thyself." How can you give love if you don't fill yourself with love. So it's time to honor yourself, love yourself and most of all forgive yourself for everything. Ask God to forgive all your past and present mess ups.  Embrace yourself with acceptance and love. Be your own best friend and treat yourself with kindness. This will then flow over into your life, your experiences and your relationships. Truly love yourself and embrace the spirit light that you are.

Something wonderful and magical happened when I took this journey down this road.  Especially when I went meatless, stopped eating meat & dairy. At first it was for ethical reasons. It hurt to see the cruelty to these animals just to feed my pleasure and taste buds. Now being off meat I have no desire to eat it ever again. It smells dead to me now. Yuck.  It's amazing how more aware & sensitive you become to yourself, your surroundings, people, the environment & Mother Earth. I guess I knew on some level but never truly realized the effect the effect of what you eat not only on your physical body but your spirit and well being, too.

I feel more in tune with the heartbeat of my body, my spirit, our planet and even the universe, it's so awe inspiring. To be so, as in the movie "The  Matrix" unplugged. When you eat meat, processed foods and drug effects of eating dairy keep you poisoning your body, you're also plugged in to indifference and asleep to what is real. Not to mention the cruelty to the animals, contributing to world hunger and damage to our planet.

Time to awaken, time to unplug and time to work in harmony with plants, animals and Mother Earth. It's our responsibility. To appreciate all that God has given us on this planet. To love it and protect it. Yes, time to be present and aware.

Once again thank you for joining me on this journey of self discovery. I do believe in you and I believe in your greatness.

    Take care and God Bless

Open to receiving

Hi. It's so nice to enjoy this time together with you.  I appreciate you joining me on this journey. What a fun and interesting journey it is.  I hope this is helping, encouraging, and inspiring you as much as it is me. I hope this is helping you to look at your own journey, to ask questions, seek answers and to listen to your higher self on your road to self discovery.  I know it has encouraged me to ask questions and to seek the answers. And I love our discovering this with you.

Like I said in my last blog, I have so much inspiration that comes from so many sources. From daily readings, to something someone has sent me via email, listening to a lecture on cd, audio books, words to a song I'm listening to, etc... Answers to our questions come from all kinds of sources. Inspiration comes from everywhere when you are open and receptive to it. All we have to do is ask. We will receive.  That is a universal law.  But then again we can ask but are we listening, are we observant and open?

Another thing that helps us is to be present. Be in the here and now. One thing to help in this is forgiveness. Forgive all in the past, release it and let it go. I mean everything, everyone and yourself. And I mean total forgiveness.  By doing this you free yourself and you create that space and the energy for unlimited good to come into your life.

I've been doing this myself. Going through my past to forgive everyone and everything. Wow. Amazing how much better I feel. Lighter some how. I think the biggest is forgiving myself. Forgiving myself for saying mean things, hurting others, not being very understanding etc... You get the idea. It's not an overnight process.  It's takes time and patience.

As people and situations arise, forgive, forgive, forgive.

Another area is getting rid of accumulated stuff. I've been doing this also. I've been going through stuff and either selling it or just giving it away. Getting rid of everything you no longer, want, need or use. Out it goes!

Wow, how do we accumulate all that stuff?

When I bought my house 15 years ago I did this very thing. I went through everything and talk about cleaning up and clearing out. Major. So I moved into my new house with not much.  Now going through it again after 15 years I'm amazed. All that energy stifled and blocked. Remember, everything is energy. We're constantly shifting it, moving it and playing with it.  But we can block its flow, stifle its movement. So we want to do those things that will free the energy -- our energy. Again, get rid of the stuff we don't need, want or use anymore; then forgive our past, forgive ourselves and continue forgive each and every day for the rest of our lives. The rest is all good. This then opens up unlimited possibilities for you and me.This too creates the space for good to come into our lives.

As we cover these areas are you feeling more freedom, more energy, more creativity and lighter? Man, I sure am. Amazing, simply amazing.  I love it.

This still follows those thoughts and ideas along the subject of prosperity. Prosperity takes many forms physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. You can do, be and have anything. But it is we that limit ourselves.

I love what Eric Butterworth wrote "You are not required to sacrifice your happiness, your opportunities, your development for others. It is the Divine Plan that you serve, but it's also the Plan that you grow and progress individually as well".

We are here to prosper, to live life to our fullest. Living life here and now, in the present so we don't miss those opportunities to help move us from where we are now to where we want to be and moving us closer to our goals and dreams.  Remember as each goal is met to be sure to create another.  When you keep creating goals and dreams, you continue the flow of energy and you show the universe you're ready for more.

I love the conversation my daughter and I had a few weeks ago. She said, "when you become aware and take action it makes you totally responsible for everything in your life."

I pray you obtain your goals and dreams. I know you can.  So continue to aspire higher.

Take care and God Bless.

How to be truly prosperous

Hi, glad to have you join me again on this wonderful journey we're on together.  I'm so glad to be sharing this time with you. Our goals and dreams; our purpose in life.  It' all so exciting, so intriguing.  So now this leads to something more spiritual. Our prosperity. Being able to be debt free, to give more to our charities, to achieve our goals and dreams. All centering around our spiritual oneness with God and our tithing.  I believe tithing is a spiritual law.  It's a law like any other. Like I said in my last blog, everything is relative here in this existence. Happy/sad; good/bad; healthy/not healthy etc... You get what I'm saying. So it is with tithing.  Create the void the universe/God fills that void. You give, you receive. There's an ebb & flow to everything, even money.  The circle of life. If you don't give, how do you expect to receive?

The are too many people personally that I know that I've seen this work in their lives. And I've seen when they stopped giving that things went south, went wrong. Like prosperity constipation. But then when they were tithing and giving abundantly it turned around and they prospered far beyond what they expected.  I've read numerous books that cover this subject of tithing being a spiritual law that can not be denied. And yes, I will be honest and tell you, I'm guilty myself. I should know better and I do. I've recently gone back in my past and looked at the times I was on top, prosperous, not wanting for anything. Those are the times I was tithing at my highest. Fantastic flow.  Then I looked at those times I was at my lowest, struggling. Well, well, what do you know? Right there in front of my face, I find those times I was most giving, I was at best in receiving. When I got worried, restricted my giving, the flow slowed and I found myself struggling. Ugh! Wow, facing the truth and seeing it is big, very big.

Now to be even more honest, what brought me to this point is I find myself once again struggling and not understanding what was going on. So from my last blog, my "me day", I did some meditating, asking God/ that universal energy of light, love, our creative source, what was going on? What was I missing? Low and behold the answers have been flooding me. "Sapphires" a daily read from Hope for the World, Unity's "The Daily Word", a cd series I've been listening to of Joe Vitale and most recently Edwene Gaines. Even my favorite book of the Bible Psalm came to me; 23:1 "The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want".  OMG! Right then I realized over the past several months I got lazy, preoccupied with life, the chaos and craziness that I've really limited my giving.  Wow! What a revelation! Right here, right now I'm making changes in my life to get back on track with a more prosperous life by giving more and back to some awesome tithing.  Oh ya!

You see, I believe in God, our universal creator, our love, light and source. I believe in the law of prosperity and tithing. You have to give to receive. So my dear friends, if you want a better, more prosperous life, you can have it. Give more and tithe more. You can do it. I believe in you!  I believe in God blessing your life. So aspire higher you're worth it!

Take care and God Bless.

Stop the World and let me get off

Hi and welcome back to Monarch Mystic

Today is Fri. 5/9/14 in Oklahoma.  I walked early this morning at a pleasant 55 degrees.   It was a beautiful morning with the sun barely rising up, all the birds were singing and bustling around on this fantastic Spring day.  This was a fabulous way to start my day.

Closing my week, I found myself exhausted and really needing some me time.  I ran myself ragged this week.  Why?  Why do we do this to ourselves? I'm sure you've asked yourself the same question.  Yet, we keep doing it to ourselves.

So today is be quiet, be still, listen to my inner voice, listen to the birds and soak in the sun day.  A time to just stop.

Oh... that just reminded me of a play I read and took part in, "Stop the World and let me get off".  Which threw me into thinking that sometimes  we all have felt that way from time to time.  When we reach that point where we are being pulled from all sides and we finally say, "Stop!"   That is when our inner self is saying,"Stop", "Slow Down", "Breathe", "Regroup".  I think sometimes our inner voice even screams at us.

It's so important to listen to that inner voice or some call it  your still small voice within.  Your inner voice knows what you need and it's so important for us to listen.  So that is what today is.  Today is quiet, me time.  Time to recharge my battery.  Time to realign myself with my goals and my spirit.

What about you?  Are you taking time to be still, to slow down and to just listen? Or are you allowing everyone, circumstances, world events, etc... swallow you up?  Are your goals and dreams getting lost in the chaos?  Maybe these are some questions you need to ask yourself and take some "me time" to listen to your inner voice and listen to what it's trying tell you and guide you.

I know I've been talking about goals and dreams in my previous blogs and how important it is to have them in front of you at all times.  They are your motivation and  your "why" to what you're doing to achieve them.  And as you achieve each goal along the way, that is your measurement of your progress. But we still need to have balance; work hard, rest and play.  This means to work hard toward our goals, rest and regroup with "me time" / "quiet time" and play time with family, friends etc...

I have found with my busy schedule lately that I have been guilty of not being balanced.  That is why today turn out to be so important.  I could stop, relax, review my goals and dreams and just decompress. Fantastic day to do this.  And it has become very rewarding.

And also in today I found a reminder of how blessed my life has been.  How I'm so thankful for the wonderful people who have come and gone in my entire life to help me along my journey and to help me become the person I am today.

Ha! You may ask : "What about the people who have hurt you, caused you pain etc...?"  Well them, too.  You see it's all relative: we can't know happiness without experiencing sorrow; we can't appreciate good health without experiencing illness; knowing love without experiencing meanness or unkindness (I prefer meanness or unkindness to hate); etc...  You understand and you've heard this all before.  But it's so true.  And I find it's always a nice reminder.

So again, I thank "Everyone" and every experience that has brought me closer to finding my purpose in life and where I am as I move, live and have my being in that purpose.

Now it's time to find your quiet time, listen to your voice within, look at your goals, where you are, where you are going and realign with your purpose.

Thank you again for joining me on this quest in life.  I believe in you!  I believe in your purpose!  Continue to aspire higher!

     Take care and God Bless!

Dreams to Reality III

Hi and welcome back to Monarch Mystic

I'd still like to continue with my thoughts from my last blogs.  I've read so much and have learned so much through my life about taking your dreams to reality.  I also realize my knowledge and education on this is just a drop in the bucket.  Even recently I've heard speakers talk on this very subject. It comes around to our beliefs.  So I've asked myself; self what do you believe?  What is my mind set on life, love, success, happiness and the list goes on? So now within my beliefs and mind set what am I doing to sabotage myself? What are my fears? Now what about you? Where are your beliefs and mind set?

There is so much helpful information out there in books, CDs, videos, webinars etc...   There are several methods on clearing out the blocks from the past. Clearing those blocks that hold us back and the stuff that sabotage us. Some are tapping, visualization, or a method where when something comes up you acknowledge it with "Thank you, I love you". You just have to find that method that works for you.  And in doing so also take action to use it. Then it takes believing in that method and believing in yourself.

Another thing that helps us along the way is our support system. A good support system is so important.  Sometimes if your family or even friends are not a positive, supportive force in your life you have to step outside of that and be with people who are going be that positive, supportive force in our lives. Recently many books, speakers on CDs, pod casts, webinars have spoke on the importance of this.  We can't do it alone. We need each other. That is why I love my daughter and appreciate the positive support and encouragement she gives me.  And I in return am a positive support and encouragement for her, too.  So find yourself a good support and do what it takes to do those things that will move you into a place of joy, success, happiness, being able to give back to humanity and help elevate the human race.

God gave us everything.  We have it all within us just waiting for us to tap into it and allow it to burst forth.  Awesomeness !  Can you feel the energy? Can you feel the light? Let's go! Let's soar higher and higher!

I believe in you! I believe all you are capable of that is good!  Aspire higher!

Take care and God Bless

Dreams to reality II

Hi and welcome back to Monarch Mystic.

I want to continue my thoughts on dreams to goals. [Read Part 1 - Click Here]

I have listened to several cd sets from The Secret, Wayne Dyer, The Key by Joe Vitale, to many others. They all have common threads. One in which is the importance of getting clear.  Clearing out the negative programing, the past & anything else that is self sabotaging.

Another is following your intuition, your gut feel, the nudges you get. Being aware, being mindful.  Oh... I like that word; Mindful.  There is a great quote from Thich Nhat Hanh on mindfulness.

"We have within us a miraculous power,
And if we live our daily lives in mindfulness,
If we take steps mindfully, with love and care,
We can produce the miracle and transform our world
Into a miraculous place to live.
"

Yes. Fabulous quote. Be mindful. And be mindful of those urgings, those nudges and take action on them. Trust the universe, trust God. Act, don't doubt.

The universe, God, will set everything in motion for you to achieve your goals and make them into reality if you will act.  Remember, small moves, consistent moves.  You will be surprised at the doors that come flying open for you along the way. It's up to you.

Awesome! Live your dreams, turn them into goals and make them your reality.

I believe in you.

Take care and God Bless

Dreams to reality

Hi and welcome to Monarch Mystic, I'm Kim. Today I was pondering; dreams into goals, goals into reality. Hummm... We all have dreams, but those dreams then need to be moved into goals where we can then find a way to make them into reality.  But how?

I've been learning that by praying for guidance, then being open and receptive to opportunities that are placed in our path, we can take those opportunities and put action with them to set them into motion and make things happen.

My daughter said something to me the other day that hit home with me. In a nutshell, she basically said that people think they have to make these massive changes, like 360 degree turns, but they don't. Technically, a 360 degree turn points you right back where you are going. It just takes a small movement, a small adjustment, to change the direction from where you were heading to a new direction.

Just like in the movie Contact.  Ellie is a child listening on a ham radio, trying to reach out far and wide to contact someone. She gets frustrated because she's moving the knob too fast and with big moves. Her dad says, "Ellie, small moves. Small moves, Ellie."

Yes, taking action with small moves, consistent moves. That's what it takes to move our dreams to goals then to reality.

Take care and God Bless
